This New Year's Gift is a little early...

You see, this year's New Year's Gift is a baby! Aurora Natalia Nichols. Aurora for greek goddess of the dawn or the the "light" word in Aurora Borealias, like you can see in Alaska, and Natalia for or in reference to our Savior Jesus Christ. Ah, what a happy name. Nichols, harldy picked, but certainly loved, means son of warrior, but in this case, maybe we'll adjust to daughter of warrior. It's a little more applicable. :)

Granted, she's but 18 weeks along in her mother, but we believe she'll be great (wouldn't it be akward to publish this, only to find that at the next ultrasound she's a boy, not a girl!) Oh well. We'll see, but only girls names will even stick, so we feel she's our little Aurora and won't change our ideas until scientifically proven otherwise! Oh, what a smile that I feel!

  1. Today, the veil was very thin. My future children showed up and joined me for dinner. It's been a tough couple days and as my wife attended the temple to see her brother marry while I was stuck a state away I was strengthened by my kids to be. I felt their spirit's close and I can't wait to raise them with my sweet wife.

    1. I make YouTube videos now. You may not love the automotive like I do, but if we google plus connect on the video that I'm about to post on a new post, then I can privately send the family only ones. Just did a Merry Christmas and now I'm putting out a Happy New Year. :)
