A Happy New Year video from AutoBravado and the DE Nichols Automotive Channel!

I hope it doesn't come across too much as something that should just be just a home movie. It was incredibly fun for me and my family, so I hope this is a Happy New Year to you and your family.

I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Some of you saw my Christmas video with music, only to have no music when apparently I'm speaking, others saw the version where I'm goofy the whole time with no music...this is the video that'll remain public, the other is now unlisted.

I regret to say that my app has updated to take away even more resolution so I'll be working to fix that as soon as I can, but in the mean time, be assured that all of his is recorded at much higher resolution so perhaps some clarity will remain. I am on the search for a new app for sure.

I hope to have my final motor mount video for front and rear motor mounts on Toyota Corollas or Chevy Prizms from 1998 to 2002. Much of the video is actually focused on end links. I have no idea if it'll stay the old resolution 480p or get sucked down to 360p like everything else I can make at the moment.

New Year's are a time for celebrating the past or moving on from, for looking forward to new hopes and new dreams. I hope for us a wonderful year to come. I have lots of videos plans and fixes to do. I love all of your feedback.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to do the Christmas video...and I overreached trying to add music and HD when it would have been ready earlier. Oh well....I finally figured out how to add music and voice only for YouTube to claim that since that video originally had music claimed by another (even though I used the music from a paid source, maybe it isn't for public videos, just private). I overeached for my current skill, but we shall not be dissuaded and persevere!

Happy New Year!

In case you wonder what in the world I'm talking about, here's the video with music for a few minutes and then the sound cuts out. I don't have a fix for that at this time, but if I did, maybe I'd re-release it next year? Who knows, lol.

I personally think the best take would be to have the wonderful music and lights over my ridiculous attempts to capture my awe of the moment and then I speak with my wife for a moment like I do once it goes silent here going into the next video:

This New Year's Gift is a little early...

You see, this year's New Year's Gift is a baby! Aurora Natalia Nichols. Aurora for greek goddess of the dawn or the the "light" word in Aurora Borealias, like you can see in Alaska, and Natalia for or in reference to our Savior Jesus Christ. Ah, what a happy name. Nichols, harldy picked, but certainly loved, means son of warrior, but in this case, maybe we'll adjust to daughter of warrior. It's a little more applicable. :)

Granted, she's but 18 weeks along in her mother, but we believe she'll be great (wouldn't it be akward to publish this, only to find that at the next ultrasound she's a boy, not a girl!) Oh well. We'll see, but only girls names will even stick, so we feel she's our little Aurora and won't change our ideas until scientifically proven otherwise! Oh, what a smile that I feel!

The New Year's Gift, Year 2

I don't yet have it in me to write this year's entry. Call my heart closed to grief. So many times I've given the advice that behind the grief is love. Writing this at least reminded me, and had me feel a little of love. After all what better love can there be than that was born of Charity, which faileth not, which is not puffed up, which loveth all things, beareth all things, hopeth all things, and endureth all things. (Last bit inspired by Moroni 7, Book of Mormon.) Read the chapter behind this link. I promise it'll be a true new year's gift to yourself.

The New Year's Gift

Today, the day after my friend Joyce Faircourt died, I would like to talk to you about The New Year's Gift that was brought to me and the group home today. I must go to my second job now, but I want the date on this article to be January 1, 2009, as special things happened today. Her family came and we feel that her family is our family. That family is the New Year's gift of choice, because it was the day that healing began. Off to 2nd job. . .

Officially it's tomorrow now, but I still reflect on Joyce's family that Liz said it first, but even as Joyce was family by close association so now is her family. They came here to St George Utah, Danville's Group Home to help Joyce get better, but with they're approval so has the blog/website been put in existence.

I feel that their continued stay beyond Joyce's death to be with us is the New Year's gift of choice. You see, we've all grieved, but we've also laughed together at Joyce's memories. Like how her wheel chair was set up so she could go flying through the home! To show you just how fast that is in a home think of this: I know many people who can't run that fast! I think that was just one of the ways that she showed her independence, freedom and love for life. (Note: I should put a picture of her humming bird tattoo next to this to also represent freedom!)

Liz and I will be editors of this blog. Liz has written works to touch us about those who are no longer with us. She is a poet and her work has directly impacted my life. At first opportunity she'll have access to write in this blog as well, and if possible, at her first publishing we'll include a photo if she'd like.

So, my hat is off to Liz! Without her works I would not have thought to put my phrase "The New Year's Gift", which I apply to the Faircourt family and name a blog in the name of a woman who touched us, and by this published information that I'll market until people can find it out of the billions of websites - or is it trillions now - that exist the work will go forward!

(Note: David has professionally taught the marketing of websites to more than a hundred one on one and the promised marketing will be to get a good message shared, but to never to turn a profit.)

Sad, but touched? If so, that's what we've been feeling. Need an uplift? Remember the spirit of Christmas by adding to "The True Meaning of Christmas". What I mean is, read some of my attempts to better learn at least A true meaning of Christmas, and together, we'll get closer to the true meaning of Christmas. Have any ideas? Add a comment while you visit.

And now for the long awaited, but promised work by Elizabeth Compton called, "You are Free as a Bird now":

You have done so much here on this Earth Joyce. Now it is time for you to be at peace with you Mother and your Father, they both will be waiting for you with open arms. When you get through the white gate, you can soar like a bird now and you will never ever have Cerebral Palsy any more. You will be made whole once again. Our heavenly Father in Heaven is very Proud of you Joyce because you have done what you needed here on this Earth. Our Father in Heaven is going to Welcome you home. Our Father in Heaven has a plan for you up their in Heaven. You will be teaching people about disabilities and our Father in Heaven is going to Hug you and never ever let you go Joyce. Now you can do whatever you need to because you don't have any thing to hold you down anymore like your Wheelchair. You can help people who have gone on before you. When you get your wings, you will be an angel watching over all of us. We will miss you greatly and will be thinking of you often. Someday we will all join you in the after life. Love you and miss you.
